Children can join Mickey Mouse, a Sorcerer's apprentice, on a quest to retrieve the Sorcerer's missing magical items that he lost. When the child masters each challenge, one of the Sorcerer's magical items is retrieved. Children can have fun looking for the missing items while learning phonics.
It is suited for children ages 5 to 8. Disney's Phonics Quest includes six exciting phonics based skills building activities, an assessment chart to track your child's progress, voice recognition technology which allows your child to speak their answer in featured activities, and educational tips to provide improve reading skills.
Some of the skills your child will acquire through the use of this software are: reading comprehension skills, vowel sounds, letter sound and recognition, word building, rhymes, spelling, consonant blends and many more.
